Had a fantastic stay here. Martin and Margaret were excellent hosts. Loved Martin's sense of humour. Both lovely people.

Made us feel valued and were really welcoming. Rooms cleaned every day, fab brekkies. Only thing I would suggest is maybe some tomatoes or hash browns as an option on the breakfast menu, perhaps an outside light next to the entrance on the road. Still giving 5 stars all round as we just had a brilliant time. Its just a beautiful part of England and made all the better with our stay at Borthalan House

I have never felt so welcome by anyone at a b&b/hotel before! Margaret and Martin are so friendly, helpful and lovely to chat to. They make you feel so at home, make the most delicious breakfasts and are so helpful when it comes to advice about the local areas. The room was really comfortable and we had everything we needed for our short stay. Our view from the room of the bay was gorgeous and it was so easy to get to the local train station. An absolutely wonderful stay - would recommend this beautiful place to everyone! Thank you Margaret and Martin!!!!

Martin and Margaret were wonderful hosts. They were so friendly and engaging and willing to help in any way they could.

Margaret cooked an excellent hot breakfast each morning. Would definitely recommend.

I had the most delightful stay at Borthalan Hotel, Margaret and Martin made me most welcome, it was very peaceful and restful.

I was really surprised the lovely breakfasts were included, somehow I missed that. My room was really lovely, I felt quite at home ,all I needed was there. The transport system is amazing, not expesive and reliable. Definitely recommend a stay there.
