We are perched on the hill above Carbis Bay beach, which is a blue flag beach, with views across the whole of the expansive St Ives Bay and the north Cornish coast beyond.

Bookings that fall in Covid Lockdowns:
Our terms & conditions set out the free cancellation periods for bookings made directly with Borthalan House. If we are required to temporarily close Borthalan House for any reason, or if you live in a lockdown-affected area your booking is safe. We will work with you to modify your stay dates to another time of your choosing, no matter which rate you booked on or how soon you were due to visit. If the new dates are on sale at a lower rate, we will refund the difference; and if they are at a higher rate, we will request you to make a top-up payment.
We have five double bedrooms with sea or garden views.
All our bedrooms are ensuite, with showers and complimentary toiletries.
We have one twin bed room on the ground floor, with garden views.
Our traditional full English breakfast or a Continental alternative is included in our prices.
As the evening draws in, after spending the day on the beach or exploring the Cornish countryside, you can relax in the lounge and have a refreshing drink from our bar.
